Soft Life Social Club Code of Conduct

1.       Respect and Inclusivity: We value and respect the diversity of our members. Discrimination, harassment, or disrespectful behavior based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.

2.       Safe and Welcoming Environment: We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Any form of bullying, intimidation, or threatening behavior will not be tolerated.

3.       Confidentiality: Personal information shared within the club should be kept confidential unless explicitly permitted by the individual. By participating in Soft Life events, I agree to be photographed. I also consent for my photos/video to be used on the SLSC website and Social Media sites.

4.       Positive Communication: We encourage open and constructive communication amongst each other. Disagreements and conflicts should be addressed respectfully and resolved in a peaceful manner.

5.       Consent: All interactions, whether physical or verbal, should be consensual. Everyone should respect each other's boundaries and refrain from engaging in any form of unwanted advances or actions.

6.       Alcohol and Substance Use: If alcohol or other substances are present at club events, everyone is expected to consume responsibly. Excessive drinking or substance abuse that disrupts the safety and enjoyment of others is not acceptable.

8.       Dress Code: Everyone is expected to dress appropriately for club events. While we encourage individual expression, attire should be respectful and in line with the occasion. Any clothing or accessories that are offensive, or disrespectful will not be permitted.

9.       Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Everyone is expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations during club activities. Illegal or unethical behavior will not be tolerated.

10.   Accountability: Everyone is accountable for their actions and behavior. Any violations of this code of conduct will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the club.

11.   Reporting: If anyone experiences or witnesses behavior that violates this code of conduct, they are encouraged to report it to the club leadership for appropriate action to be taken.

12. Refunds: There will be no refunds for events you paid for. It takes a lot to plan these events, and most times they are paid for in advance, which make it impossible to give a refund. Please sign up for events that you are sure you will be able to attend.

By participating in Soft Life Social Club, everyone agrees to abide by this code of conduct and uphold the values of respect, inclusivity, and integrity.
